Paul's Bio
Artists like to draw something that can influence people for the better. Paul Raymond Giordano is an aspiring one that wants to join such ranks. Growing up watching animated shows from Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and many others, he saw how animation could translate emotions, ideas, and messages into visual form that could either make people laugh, think, or be moved by. Drawing his favorite characters from memory and precise attention to detail, he was able to understand how linework makes a notable impact with how they could sum up a certain situation in a nutshell without having to include words, and partly help allow people to identify with the characters they feel the most attached to.
With the support of his parents, Paul was able to discover ways to ensure he had both the right skills and education in order to gain the career that would change him and hopefully the people he would be creating the art for. Through schools such as King Arts, Evanston Township High School, and now Sheridan College in Ontario Canada, he was able to not only firmly establish and refine his preferred art style, he would also create his own characters that he felt the most confident in selling to either animation studios, or other industries where art plays a large role such as illustrations for children’s books and comics. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Paul moved back home to the USA with his parents and one of his sisters to create resumes and finish what is now his third and final year at Sheridan, doing all homework assignments with counseling from close family members and aides safely providing backup whenever it is needed.

The current trajectory Paul has aimed for that he feels makes the most of the skills he currently has is storyboarding for animated films, hoping that he’ll be able to contribute to major animated films or shows from either Disney, Warner Bros, Pixar, or Dreamworks Animation. Paul is now in his last semester at Sheridan College where he has returned to campus life. Whatever happens next, Paul is sure that he will be able to rise up to whatever challenges he may face during his final semesters in college, and complete all the work needed to finally draw his way into what he hopes to be a well-established adult life.
